​Mi trabajo es un viaje a través del contacto con diferentes vivencias y experiencias,  conflictos,  paralelos y  relaciones  que forman parte de cada ser humano, en especial de la mujer.
Las situaciones que dejan una marca, y del misterio de ellas, de cómo son archivadas individualmente o como un conjunto de memorias que se encierran en su interior, el modo de expresarlas y la manera en que se ven reflejadas al presentarse diferentes situaciones durante el día a día.  Es como el despertar del individuo en su esencia,  mostrando cada una de sus diferentes  facetas, desde los más sublimes sentimientos, hasta el lado más obscuro o el lado sensible que no se revela a simple vista.

En mi obra utilizo a la misma modelo.   Con esto pretendo llevar un registro de la evolución de mi personaje a través del tiempo.  Como va descubriendo y cambiando en cada fase y teniendo diferentes retos relativos a cada una de estas etapas.

Construyo imágenes figurativas y conceptuales a través de fotografías, dibujos, objetos y collages;  piezas asiladas, que  al fundirse forman un todo, mostrando la esencia  de lo que quiero expresar.  Para mi es sumamente importante el renovar mi trabajo a través de la experimentación  constante, utilizando diferentes materiales que incluyen, lienzos, metal, madera y plexiglas.

 Soy una artista guatemalteca autodidacta.  El aprendizaje y mi trabajo son mi pasión.

I see my work as a journey through different backgrounds and experiences, conflicts and relationships that are part of every human being, specially women.

Situations that leave a mark on us and the mystery of them, and how they are stored individually or as a set of memories that are locked inside, how they emerge and how they are reflected in different situations that arise day by day.  

It is like the awakening of the individual in its essence, showing each of its facets, from the most sublime feelings, to the darker side that is not revealed at first glance. 

In my work I use the same models.  My intent with that is to keep track of the evolution of my characters over time, and how in each stage is discovering and taking different challenges relating to each of these stages.

My work is product of constant experimentation and curiosity, I build figurative and conceptual images through photographs, drawings, objects and collage images; isolated parts, which together form a whole, showing the essence of what I need to express. 

For me experimentation is an essential part of my work, constantly looking to renew it with different materials.

I use multiple channels that include canvas, metal, wood and plexiglas.

I´m a self-taught mix media artist from Guatemala.  Learning and working are a passion of mine.
